Thanksgiving 2011
2011 is the first year in a long time where we were able to go home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was very exciting!

I helped Mama decorate the Christmas tree before heading back to Tuscaloosa.
On the way home……I love this picture of Milly peeking around me and Oscar up in the back window (sitting on the suitcases).
First trip home to Tennessee with Sookie (AKA New Girl). She did great!

More Fall 2011
I got the pumpkins at the farmer’s market – all 4 for ~$10. They were the most beautiful pumpkins that I have ever seen. In fact, I could not bear to carve them or alter them in any way. I sat them out on our front porch just like you see them here.
This year we bought cinnamon pine cones at Publix…..they smell absolutely WONDERFUL and it permeates the entire house. I need to learn how to do it myself. This is definitely something that I will repeat!
