Weekending: Fall Breakfast

One thing that I have missed while recuperating from back surgery is my Saturday  morning routine: sleeping later, the Farmer’s Market, Weight Watchers & taking photos. Brent usually gets home from his bike ride around 11 & then we get ready and go to lunch.  Tuscaloosa is a nice place to be on Saturday mornings, especially in the fall, especially on game days.  Everyone is so excited.

So, I have been a little bummed about having to spend the past few Saturday mornings at home in the recliner. But today, Brent made it all better…..after several recommendations from friends, he picked up breakfast from Chloe’s Cup Coffees & Teas in downtown Tuscaloosa on the way home from his bike ride.

Damn him.

Haha! The blog has its first curse word! Above you see four sweet potato biscuits & two cheesy breakfast muffins.  One was a sausage muffin and the other was turkey bacon.  They were both AMAZING!

But the sweet potato biscuits…..

Oh my goodness.  Must find the recipe for these immediately!  They taste like a biscuit-flavored cookie, in a good way.  It makes me want to open my own bakery!

Can’t wait to go back.  This may become a new Saturday morning tradition!
