We headed up to Tennessee for Thanksgiving on Tuesday night before the big day. We had originally planned on leaving Wednesday after work, but the weather was supposed to be bad (chance of snow & ice), so we went ahead and took off on Wednesday, loaded up, and hit the road as soon as we got off on Tuesday. It took forever to get home, but we were glad that we went ahead and did it – it gave us more time to spend at home and also we did beat the weather – the Freeman’s got a few inches of snow on Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday, I helped Mama & Daddy get ready for the dinner on Thursday. We cleaned and cleaned and decorated (see above). On Thursday, we ate way too much. Everything was just so good!! We had lunch at Tincie’s house with Brent’s family & dinner at Mama & Daddy’s with Kourtney & Brian (Me’s House, Pappaw Bob & Jean couldn’t make it due to Me’s House being sick- boo!). On Friday, me, Brent & Daddy went hiking in the Smokies (another post) and on Saturday it was thrift store shopping, Cheddar’s & Kroger – woo hoo! We had a great time! Pictures below:
