Today was the big three-one for this guy:
I love him. What a guy. He is smart, funny, handsome and sweet. He has been a combination nurse + drill sergeant. I love the beard. If the back mishap hadn’t occurred, we would be livin’ it up in Orange Beach today. Unfortunately, he took his “vacation” a few weeks ago and helped me recover from surgery. But he hasn’t complained the first time.
Tonight, to celebrate, we went to Red Lobster for the endless shrimp, where this picture was taken. It’s not Papa Rocco’s or The Original Oyster House, but it will do. I think he will let me make it up to him.
