I got to spend Tuesday with my favorite 8 year old! Lookout Mountain, look out for us!!!! (She made that up! Ha!)
I had so much fun!! We went to Rock City, Ruby Falls, and then back to Mama & Daddy’s house to swim. She took in copious amounts of sugar, blew bubbles all day, and asked about 100 times: “are we almost there?” It was fun!
This visit to Ruby Falls was much more enjoyable than the last one! (Chattanooga Highlights, Part 2: Ruby Fail, 2010).
Unfortunately she didn’t get to swim for long before it started storming! Shortly thereafter, Thelma came to pick her up and we sent her on her way with some peach cobbler straight from the oven! So fun!!!
