Happy Birthday to Brent!
The beautiful cake was hand-made with love by a very very dear friend of mine, Leslie. Back in June, we were invited to her daughter’s wedding. Her daughter just happens to be Anna, our wonderful house-sitter. Anyway, she had a multi-layer wedding cake with alternating flavors of vanilla & strawberry. We both had a piece of strawberry cake and absolutely loved it. Brent said it was the best cake he has ever had at a wedding and maybe one of the best slices of cake ever. So, as it turns out, Leslie actually made the wedding cake and I told her how much Brent loved it. And being the kind, thoughtful person that she is, she made him his own strawberry cake for his birthday. It was truly divine. Amazing. It really may be my favorite cake!
So, happy birthday, Brent! I love you!
