We got to Vegas on Friday night and Brent’s conference didn’t start until Sunday – so we had all Saturday to play! We decided to visit the Valley of Fire state park. When researching the trip, it came highly recommended and is located about 1 hour from the strip.
We stopped to take several pictures of the desert landscape along the way.
We stopped along the way at a park to take photos and do some rock climbing.
I met a really nice man at this park who had driven all the way down from Canada. He & his wife (retired) were on a tour of the west – they had been to the California coast, Yosemite and several other parks and were making their way toward the Grand Canyon. I would love it if we could do that one day!
And then we were on our way! Next stop, Valley of Fire!
